I have been working professionally to help people with emotional and physical health issues for over twenty five years, and offer a caring and confidential service that is tailored to your needs.

I qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1992, and have undergone seven years of training in Counselling and Psychotherapy in Oxfordshire and London. I have qualifications in psychodynamic psychotherapy, a Post-graduate Diploma in transpersonal integrative counselling and psychotherapy, and a  MA in transpersonal integrative psychotherapy.

I have had further training in working with trauma, self-harm, autism spectrum conditions, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, issues around the menopause and coping with other life transitions.

I have also worked extensively with those struggling with emotional fall-out from physical conditions, and with women who have experienced infertility, post-natal depression and pregnancy loss as a result of stillbirth, miscarriage or termination.

My training college was fully registered and compliant with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and The British Asssiation for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to the ethical guidelines of both organisations.

My training allows me to work across all modalities -  including CBT, and my practice is GSRD/LGBTQ affirmative.

I am based in North Devon, where I offer sessions in person. However,

I do also offer counselling and psychotherapy online via Skype or FaceTime and by telephone.

My in-person sessions have taken place outdoors since the start of the coronavirus pandemic. A number of my clients have expressed that they find it easier to talk whilst walking or sitting in nature. The beautiful coastline and countryside of North Devon really lends itself to this approach.

Please do call me on 07779 873022, or email me via the contact form to discuss how I may help you.
